About Kamila

Kamila Surkont was called to the bar in 2014 after beginning her legal career at a prominent Toronto firm practising insurance defence, and she now applies that insurance-industry knowledge to help accident victims. She obtained her Juris Doctor in 2013 from the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law, where she served as President of the Students' Law Society and received the J.W. Whiteside Award for community service. Her practice focuses on motor vehicle accident and slip and fall claims, and she is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Law Society of Ontario as well as the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association's Women's Legal Forum. She is fluent in Polish and has intermediate French.
