Class ActionsRyan Morasiewicz practises as an outdoor and adventure industry and insurance defence lawyer, with experience in risk management for the outdoors industry, insurance and injury litigation, health law, class actions and corporate-commercial litigation. He was defence counsel in the Supreme Court of Canada case Clements v. Clements (2012 SCC 32) and lead counsel in the Kirk v. Executive Flight Centre environmental contamination class action, among other insurance defence matters at trial and on appeal. He was called to the British Columbia bar in 2006. Outside his practice he has served as a director of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides since 2019 and as a ground search team leader with North Shore Rescue since 2011. He has also been active with the Canadian Bar Association's BC Health Law subsection, including as co-chair in 2008-2009, and has been a CBA member since 2006.
