About Ruchira

Ruchira Kulkarni focuses her family law practice on resolving conflict in ways that prioritize children's and clients' interests, aiming for clear and practical outcomes while relying on her litigation background when court advocacy is needed. She earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa and was called to the Ontario bar in 2016, after which she articled at a boutique Toronto firm specializing in family and estate litigation. She later worked as a criminal defence lawyer, appearing before the Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Justice. Since 2019 she has practiced exclusively in family law, handling property division, domestic contracts, support claims, and parenting disputes. She is fluent in Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, and Urdu, and understands Punjabi.
