About Claudia

Claudia Macek is an associate lawyer at Shulman & Partners LLP whose practice has focused exclusively on family law since her call to the Ontario Bar in 2020. She graduated from the University of Ottawa's faculty of common law and civil law, completing a Licentiate in Law and a Juris Doctor in 2019, and is fluent in both English and French. During law school she belonged to the Family Law in Practice Association and took part in an international human rights program in Eastern Europe focused on policy reform for post-conflict countries, becoming a published author through that work. Before joining the firm she gained practical courtroom experience at boutique family law firms in Ottawa and Toronto, and she now favours a communicative, client-centred approach.
