About Alyssa

Alyssa Warias received her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario bar in 2020, after completing a Bachelor of Arts at Dalhousie University with First Class Honours. Before her call, she articled at a civil litigation boutique in Toronto. Her practice now focuses exclusively on family law, covering parenting issues, child support, spousal support and property division. While at Osgoode, Alyssa volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada's Family Law Project, helping self-represented litigants prepare court materials, and completed a clinical placement at the Barbra Schlifer Clinic assisting people experiencing gender-based violence. She has advocated for clients at the Ontario and Superior Court levels in high-conflict matters, though she also relies on alternative dispute resolution where it can provide a faster, more cost-effective outcome.
