About Mercy

Mercy Iannicello co-chairs Dolden's Cyber and Privacy Liability Practice Group and has extensive experience in insurance litigation covering cyber and privacy claims, complex personal injury, regulatory investigations, liquor and commercial host liability, and product liability. She often acts as privacy counsel and breach coach for organizations facing cyber incidents, guiding them through containment, statutory obligations under federal and provincial privacy laws, and cross-border data issues. Mercy also defends businesses, retailers, and commercial centres in personal injury claims under the Occupiers Liability Act, including cases involving traumatic brain injuries and chronic pain, and she represents bars, nightclubs, and restaurants against claims arising from the service of alcohol. She advises professionals such as veterinarians, dentists, and paramedics through regulatory investigations, and she was called to the Ontario bar in 2008 and the British Columbia bar in 2018.
