About Rodney
Rodney Sellar is the senior partner at Bayne Sellar Ertel Macrae. He graduated from Queen's University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce and from the University of Ottawa's law school in 1976, and has been a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1978. In 1989 he was certified as a specialist in criminal litigation and has maintained that designation annually since. He has over 44 years of experience representing clients charged with criminal offences including murder, sexual assault, domestic assault, drug trafficking, money laundering, extradition and impaired driving, and has appeared at all levels of the Ontario courts, the Supreme Court of Canada, and Courts Martial. He also advises corporations on criminal, quasi-criminal and regulatory matters, including industrial safety and cross-border issues. He has taught criminal law at the Law Society's Bar Admission Course and as a guest lecturer at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law.
