About Rod
Rod Talaifar advises clients on complex cross-border capital markets and corporate transactions, including take-over bids, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, project finance, and cross-border debt and equity offerings. He also advises on public company governance matters, internal board investigations, and proxy fights, for clients listed on the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, and the Toronto Stock Exchange across industries including mining, forest products, and financial services. Rod has been an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Law since 2010, teaching Advanced Corporate Law. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2008 and holds an LL.B. and a B.A., both from the University of British Columbia.
