About Robyn

Robyn Young is a dedicated criminal defence lawyer with a passion for advocacy and access to justice. Born and raised in Vancouver, she earned her degree in Criminology from Simon Fraser University before completing her J.D. at Thompson Rivers University in 2021, where she founded the TRU Criminal Law Club and worked with the TRU Community Legal Clinic. She co-authored publications in The Advocate, Criminal Law Quarterly, and the UBC Law Review as a research assistant to Dr. Robert Diab, received the Advocate Legal Writing Prize and the BC Prosecution Service Bursary, and completed her articles with Brian Coleman, K.C., Glen Orris, K.C., Mark Swartz, and Chantal Paquette in downtown Vancouver.
