About Maria

Maria Michouris is an associate at Haddock & Company practicing strata property law, co-operative housing law, landlord and tenant law and construction law. She obtained her law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2024 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in May 2025. While in law school she worked at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic and, prior to joining the firm, articled at the British Columbia Law Institute, contributing to law reform research on co-operative housing and strata property law. She also drafted court applications and legal arguments through her work with the British Columbia Civil Liberties Association, contributing to cases at the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
