About Robert

Robert Winogron is a partner in the Ottawa office, practising in the Advocacy Department with extensive experience in Indigenous and administrative law. He has experience in Indigenous law, including specific claims legal and policy issues, and Indigenous class action litigation. He currently acts as lead counsel in a class proceeding regarding Indigenous day school litigation. He previously led a negotiation legal team at the federal Department of Justice and served as Canada's legal representative on the AFN/Canada Joint Task Force, which created the Specific Claims Tribunal.
