About Robert

Robert Diab is a professor in the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University and joined Jensen Law as associate counsel in 2019 to assist with appellate work and complex criminal litigation. He holds an LLB and a PhD in law from the University of British Columbia and teaches criminal law and evidence. He is a co-author of Search and Seizure (Irwin, 2023) and has published articles on criminal law, civil liberties, and human rights in venues including the Criminal Law Quarterly, the Oxford University Comparative Law Forum, the Osgoode Hall Law Journal, and the Canadian Criminal Law Review. He was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2002 and has experience as both Crown and defence counsel at all levels of court in the province.
