Jaimie Kidston helps clients resolve complex wills and estates disputes, including claims of undue influence, lack of capacity, invalidity, and variation of wills and trusts, as well as contentious estate administrations. She counsels clients on identifying and preventing elder abuse and misuse of power of attorney, and guides them through adult guardianship and committeeship applications, working closely with the Public Guardian & Trustee. Although she focuses primarily on estate law, Jaimie also assists select clients with claims involving Indigenous law and construction and business disputes, and she has represented clients at all levels of court in B.C., the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal, and the Employment Standards Tribunal. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia in 2009 and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta in 2004, and has spoken at conferences including the Trial Lawyers Association of BC's Estate Litigation Conference.
