About Rob
Rob Youngson is an associate at Fineberg Ramamoorthy LLP focusing on intellectual property litigation. His work includes trademark disputes, patent litigation involving pharmaceutical products, and NOC proceedings under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) regulations. Before joining the firm, he articled and worked as an associate at a well-regarded Ottawa IP litigation firm, gaining experience before the Trademarks Opposition Board, the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal. He has conducted discoveries in IP damages cases, represented clients in court-assisted mediation, and taken part in a Federal Court trial. Rob earned his J.D., Common Law Section, from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, where he served as a Dean's Legal Research and Writing Fellow. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2022 and holds an Honours B.Sc. with High Distinction from the University of Toronto's Trinity College.
