About Nick
Nick Kawar is an associate at Fineberg Ramamoorthy LLP, concentrating on intellectual property litigation, including pharmaceutical disputes and proceedings under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. He is currently working toward a Master of Laws focused on IP at Osgoode Hall Law School. Before joining the firm, he appeared before the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal on patent and trademark matters, including cases involving patent damages. While in law school, he assisted inventors through the International Intellectual Property Law Clinic in Detroit and supported research for his copyright law professor. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018 and holds a J.D. from the University of Windsor.
