About Rob

Rob Moubarak is a founding partner of Sutherland Law, where he manages a practice centered on commercial and construction litigation, with additional focus on family law, employment law, and bankruptcy and insolvency. A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School practising since 2007, he has spoken on construction topics at credit institutions and industry events, and has appeared in court at every level across a number of jurisdictions. He represents corporate clients based in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, and his commercial litigation work spans disputes between shareholders and partners as well as debt collection and enforcement of security, handling both plaintiff and defence sides of these matters. He has built up considerable experience in trial advocacy, appeals, negotiation, and dispute resolution around construction disputes, real estate development, and other complex commercial matters, acting for owners, builders, trades, and suppliers. He also mentors junior lawyers as they begin their careers.
