About Vito

Vito S. Scalisi founded Scalisi Barristers and is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a specialist in construction law. He has practised complex litigation in Ontario for more than three decades, appearing before every level of the provincial court system, the Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of Canada, and numerous administrative tribunals and arbitrations. His practice centers on construction, contract, and commercial disputes. Vito was called to the bar in 1993 after earning his LLB from the University of Windsor in 1991 and a BA from the University of Toronto in 1988. He mentors newer lawyers through the Law Society of Ontario's Coach and Advisor Network and belongs to the Canadian Italian Advocates Organization, the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates' Society, the Toronto Lawyers Association, and the York Region Lawyers Association.
