About Ripple

Ripple Kaila is an Associate at JSS Barristers whose practice focuses on alternative dispute resolution, arbitration, contractual and construction disputes, insurance disputes, corporate and commercial litigation, employment law, franchise litigation, and product liability. She represents individual and corporate clients before the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Court of King's Bench of Alberta, and joined JSS after summering and articling at a national firm. Ripple graduated from Thompson Rivers University's Faculty of Law on the Dean's List in 2021, where her team won the Best Factum Award at the Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot. She earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary before law school. Born in Punjab and raised partly in Canada since 2009, Ripple speaks, reads, and writes in Punjabi and Hindi, and is active with the South Asian Bar Association - Calgary and the Association of Women Lawyers in Calgary.
