About Rick

Rick Wong's practice includes estate planning for high net worth individuals and domestic and international tax planning for individuals and corporations, with many of his clients coming from the mining and exploration sector. He represents clients in disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency, including audits and appeals, and has appeared before the Tax Court of Canada as well as the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal. Wong has significant experience handling voluntary disclosures for clients with unreported income or undisclosed offshore accounts and assets, and he has spoken on tax law topics at various professional conferences, including those run by the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Law Society of British Columbia.
