Construction LawRick Dunlop practises labour and employment law, representing clients such as construction companies, government bodies, trucking and finance companies, and radio broadcasters. He has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia, labour and employment tribunals, and the Supreme Court of Canada. His experience includes interest arbitrations, wrongful dismissal defence, human rights appeals, and constitutional challenges to essential services legislation. Dunlop leads Stewart McKelvey's Labour and Employment group and has written and spoken frequently on workplace drug and alcohol policy, cannabis legalization, and paid sick leave. He earned his LLB from Dalhousie University in 2000 and a BA (honours) from the University of King's College in 1996. He was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2001 and the Ontario bar in 2025.
