About Richard
Richard J. Sehmer co-founded Coal Harbour Law and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2011 after earning an LLB from City University, London. He focuses on creating, restructuring, buying, and selling businesses for entrepreneurs, and has co-founded several ventures himself, including Twin Sails Brewing, Bar Susu, Novella, MamaSaid Pizza, and Published on Main. He has been named among Best Lawyers' 'Ones to Watch' since 2023, serves as a director of Small Business BC, and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association.
