About Richard

Richard (Dick) Hamilton, K.C., is a retired lawyer who founded Hamilton & Co., the predecessor to HHBG Lawyers, in 2001, after 50 years as an employment lawyer and later a leading mediator for workplace disputes in British Columbia. He worked alongside Nicole Howell, who joined him as a junior lawyer, as the firm grew into HHBG Lawyers. Dick's name remains on the firm's masthead in recognition of his influence on its culture and its continued practice of employment law.
