About Rhyannon

Rhyannon O'Heron practices collaborative law, mediation and negotiation, and litigation in family law matters, and has represented clients at all three levels of Alberta court. She assists clients with cohabitation and prenuptial agreements, assisted reproduction agreements, uncontested adoption, separation agreements, divorce, parenting, support, property division, and restraining orders. Before law school, O'Heron earned a master's in social work and worked as a clinical social worker providing psychotherapy, family mediation, and crisis intervention to survivors of sexual violence, children, and families. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta, articled with the Chief Justice of the Nunavut Court of Justice and the Edmonton Community Legal Centre, was called to the bar and joined the firm (then Gordon Zwaenepoel, now Bruyer & Mackay) in 2014, and became a partner in 2020.
