About Reed
Reed Taubner is counsel in the firm's Ottawa office and a member of the Intellectual Property Group. His practice centres on helping clients secure, enforce and commercialize their trademarks. He has acted on behalf of brand owners and has extensive experience helping clients manage global trademark and domain name portfolios. He represents clients before the Trademark Opposition Board and helps pursue infringements. He also prepares trademark licenses, assignments, cooperative advertising agreements, and promotional contest terms and conditions. He previously practised at a major Canadian law firm and in-house with a brand owner, and taught at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law as a part-time professor.
