About Reed

Reed Sitarik was born and raised in Winnipeg. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Winnipeg in 2020 before attending the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, where she found her focus in criminal justice. She volunteered at the Nova Institution for Women, assisting with the grievance system, and worked on a pro bono project helping incarcerated individuals access dental care. She graduated in 2023 with a Juris Doctor and a certificate in criminal justice, articled with Brodsky, Amy & Gould, and was called to the bar in 2024, joining Smith Corona Cook & Munce as a criminal defence lawyer.
