About Calen

Calen Nixon is a partner in McDougall Gauley's Regina office who leads the firm's labour and employment practice. He advises employers on provincial and federal employment matters and regularly appears before administrative tribunals and Saskatchewan courts. His practice also covers commercial litigation, human rights, and occupational health and safety. He holds a Best Lawyers in Canada listing since 2025 and received the Law Society of Saskatchewan's CPLED Award of Distinction in 2015. Calen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of British Columbia in 2009 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2014, and was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 2015.
