About Rebecca

Rebecca Jones is a partner at Lenczner Slaght with an active trial and appellate practice. She represents both private and public sector clients in public law matters, commercial disputes, class actions, and professional liability cases. Her public law work includes judicial reviews, public inquiries, integrity investigations, constitutional and regulatory proceedings, and expropriation disputes, acting for governments, public institutions, and senior officials as well as private clients facing regulatory scrutiny. Her commercial and class action practice touches on natural resources, transportation, and professional services, while her professional liability work includes acting for regulatory Colleges and serving as independent counsel. She also conducts complex workplace investigations and appears before every level of court in Ontario as well as in commercial arbitrations. Rebecca co-leads the firm's Public Law Practice Group and co-chairs its Pro Bono Committee. She earned her LL.B. with Honours Standing from the University of Toronto and a B.A. with Honours in Political Science and History from McGill University, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2003.
