Wills, Estates & TrustsEmma Banfield is a partner at Reynolds Mirth Richards & Farmer LLP with a varied practice advising professional regulatory bodies on disciplinary issues, regulatory matters and governance questions, alongside a litigation practice covering estate disputes and foreclosure work, and assistance to individual clients with wills and estate planning. Before her articles with the firm, she clerked at the Alberta Court of Appeal. Prior to law, Emma worked as a professional violinist across Canada and the United States and holds a Doctorate of Music from Northwestern University, supported by an SSHRC grant, along with master's degrees from the University of Michigan and a BMus with High Distinction from Wilfrid Laurier University. She earned her JD with Distinction from the University of Alberta and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2019. Emma volunteers with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre and Workshop West Playwright's Theatre.
