About Rachel

Rachel Wang works as an IP Strategist. She earned a bachelor's degree in architecture, environment, and equipment engineering, the HVAC field, from Nanjing Tech University in China, followed by a master's in project management from Nanjing University. She later completed a second master's degree in civil engineering with a focus on wind energy, from Western University. Her expertise spans mechanical, civil, and engineering management work, developed through her time as an engineering manager for a Hong Kong utility investment company. She is currently pursuing a part-time LLM with a specialization in IP law at Osgoode Hall Law School. Her practice focuses on patent protection, and she regularly performs patentability searches, prosecutes patents, handles patent landscaping, and works on IP strategy matters.
