About Rachel
Rachel articled with MDW and joined as an associate in 2024, practising family law. She earned her law degree from McGill Law School, studying both Canadian common law and Québec civil law and serving as executive editor of the McGill Law Journal, and was first called to the bar in New York State, where she practised corporate tax law before entering academia. After earning a PhD in philosophy from Princeton University, she taught philosophy as an assistant professor at Louisiana State University before returning to Canada, working as a researcher for the Mass Casualty Commission and then joining MDW Law.
