About Eryn
Eryn is a lawyer based in Patterson Law's Truro office, originally from St. John's, Newfoundland. She holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in English, both from Memorial University of Newfoundland, the latter supported by a grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Eryn earned her J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2022, graduating with distinction, and was on the winning team of the Walsh Family Law Moot competition in her final year. In her family law practice, she promotes interest-based settlement where possible and is a vigorous advocate for clients in court when it is not. She was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2023 and serves as a board member for the Colchester East Hants Hospice Society.
