About Yvonne

Yvonne LaHaye is Counsel at CDR Law and has practised exclusively in matrimonial family law since 1990. She is a past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association's Family Law Section and served as the 49th President of the Canadian Bar Association (Nova Scotia) from 2003 to 2004. She has served on numerous committees for the CBA and the Department of Justice, and sat on the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society Task Force on Professional Civility from 2000 to 2003. She has presented at conferences including the National Judges Conference and CBA continuing legal education seminars. Since 2006 she has been included on the Best Lawyers in Canada list for Family Law, and she is a family law arbitrator with the Family Law Arbitration Society & Institute. She was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2006.
