About Prateek

Prateek Khatri is a licensed Ontario lawyer and the founder of Khatri Law Office Professional Corporation in Welland, focusing on immigration and family law. He began his legal career in India, where he was called to the Bar Council of Delhi and practised criminal, civil, family and consumer protection law before various district courts, tribunals and the Delhi High Court. After moving to Canada, he earned a Paralegal Graduate Certificate from Georgian College, completed the National Committee on Accreditation requirements, and became licensed to practise law in Ontario through the Law Society of Ontario. Before opening his own firm, he worked with established Ontario law firms and immigration consultants, gaining experience across family, estate, civil and immigration law. His practice today covers immigration matters such as permanent residence and settlement, family law issues including divorce, custody and support, and notary public and commissioning services, and the firm provides services in both English and Hindi.
