Construction LawPhilip Holdsworth handles complex commercial disputes that often involve multiple parties, long factual histories, and technical evidence. His practice covers shareholder, partnership, and oppression disputes, fraud and asset tracing, professional negligence and breach of fiduciary duty claims, and construction and commercial property litigation. He appears regularly before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and its Commercial List, and increasingly acts in private arbitrations, both as advocate and arbitrator. His clients range from individual directors and shareholders to companies in real estate development, finance, technology, and asset management. Philip was called to the Ontario bar in 2016 and holds a B.A. from McGill University and a J.D. from the University of Ottawa, where he graduated cum laude. Before practicing law, he worked in public relations advising clients on digital platforms and brand reputation, and he has used artificial intelligence in his litigation practice since 2021.
