About David

David Lederman is a partner in Goodmans' Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, focusing on litigation and arbitration involving commercial law and intellectual property. He has substantial trial experience in shareholder disputes, fiduciary liability matters, technology disputes, defamation, white collar crime, and alcohol and cannabis litigation. David appears before the trial and appellate levels of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Court of Canada, and has appeared before tribunals such as the Ontario Energy Board. He is experienced in domestic and international arbitration, having acted as lead counsel before the ICC International Court of Arbitration and served as an arbitrator for the International Centre for Dispute Resolution. David assisted the Honourable Bob Rae in his review of the Air India Flight 182 bombing, contributing to a report that led to a Commission of Inquiry into the investigation.
