About D'Arcy

D'Arcy McGoey is an experienced trial lawyer who represents both insurers and policyholders in bodily injury and accident benefits claims, appearing in arbitrations, at trial, and before appellate courts throughout Ontario. He frequently acts for insurers of rental vehicles and has particular familiarity with the legal issues facing that industry. Since 1995 he has been involved in leading cases interpreting the Priority Dispute rules, the Loss Transfer rules, and the Workers' Compensation interface provisions of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1992 after earning his LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1990 and his B.A. from York University in 1987.
