Peter Howie practises in criminal defence, family law, and child protection law across Ontario's north. He began his career in Toronto as a student with the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Infrastructure, then articled with the Environment and Land Tribunals Ontario and the Safety, Licensing Appeals and Standards Tribunals Ontario. Before law school he worked as a senior policy advisor with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. He chairs the Fort Frances Municipal Accommodation Tax committee and co-founded and directs Borderland Pride. Peter holds a bachelor's degree in environmental biology from the University of Guelph and a law degree from Western University.
