About McLean
McLean Ayearst focuses on safeguarding the rights of vulnerable persons, bringing experience from legal clinic settings and articling with Legal Aid Ontario in its family, criminal, and refugee offices. Before joining the firm, he worked as a legal advisor for vulnerable persons in Egypt and Thailand, and worked in human rights with the United Nations in Geneva, Sudan, and Lebanon. McLean obtained his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University in 2016, and holds a specialized honours degree in international development studies from York University.
