About Douglas
Douglas Judson began his career with the Toronto office of one of Canada's leading law firms before returning north to practise civil litigation, human rights, estate litigation, and municipal law. His practice supports institutional clients, Indigenous organizations, private businesses, and not-for-profit corporations, and he also provides subcontracted litigation support to other law firms. Doug is a former municipal councillor and past chair of the Federation of Ontario Law Associations, and he previously served as a director on the board of the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. He currently sits on the boards of the Northwest Community Legal Clinic and Borderland Pride. He holds bachelor's degrees in political science and commerce from the University of Ottawa and a joint JD/MBA from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business. Doug was an Action Canada fellow in 2020, received the Osgoode Hall Law School Alumni Association Gold Key Award in 2024, and in 2025 was recognized by the Canadian Association of LGBTQ2S+ Lawyers for his legal advocacy.
