About Penny
Penny Georgoudis is a principal partner and civil litigator with more than 30 years of experience acting for plaintiffs, insurers, municipalities, and public and private sector organizations throughout Ontario. Her practice covers tort and negligence claims, sexual abuse claims, product and professional liability, and general liability matters. She was recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada 2023 and the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory 2023 for her work in insurance law and personal injury litigation. Penny is also a qualified mediator, trained through the Canadian Dispute Resolution Corporation, the Advanced Mediation Workshop at Osgoode Hall Law School, and the Arbitration and Mediation Institute of Ontario, and her mediation practice focuses on personal injury, occupiers' liability, sexual abuse and harassment, long-term care and elder abuse, and employment claims. She earned her BBA in 1985 and her LL.B. in 1988, both from the University of New Brunswick.
