About Pawan

Pawan Joshi is the Principal Lawyer at Joshi Lawyers, practising family law and litigation in British Columbia since 1999. He completed his articles with the BC Public Interest Advocacy Centre in Vancouver and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2008. His practice covers divorce, child custody, parenting disputes, property division, spousal support, and separation agreements, resolved through negotiation, mediation, or litigation. In March 2019 he was appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council of British Columbia as a Tribunal Member of the BC Farm Industry Review Board, presiding over hearings involving agricultural commodity boards and animal welfare appeals. He has worked with the Farm Workers' Legal Advocacy Program of PICS Society and Abbotsford Community Services, and currently acts as a panelist lawyer for the Family Legal Advocacy Program of Archway Community Services, funded by the Law Foundation of BC. He is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of B.C., and has appeared before the Provincial Court, Supreme Court, and Court of Appeal of British Columbia, and the Federal Court of Canada. He lives in Delta, British Columbia.
