Brock Smith joined Whiteboard Law as a co-founder in July 2015 and has more than 20 years of experience in corporate and technology law, advising entrepreneurs and technology companies from formation through to exit. He also assists post-secondary institutions, government organizations, and service providers with outsourcing and technology licensing transactions, and serves part-time as general counsel for a Kelowna-based clean energy technology company through the firm's Whiteboard In-House service. Since 2012, Brock has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in Canada in information technology law, based on peer review. He was an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia's Allard School of Law for over 10 years, teaching solicitor's practice skills and ethics, and is a frequent guest lecturer for the Law Society of British Columbia's Professional Legal Training Course.
