About Paul

Paul Gibney is a partner in the firm's Toronto office. His work centers on personal, corporate and trust planning for high net worth individuals, family offices, executives and owner managers, both in Canada and abroad, covering corporate reorganizations, estate planning, business purchases and sales, and immigration and emigration matters. He also represents taxpayers before the CRA in audits, appeals and voluntary disclosures. From 1996 to 1997 he served as Policy Advisor to the Minister of National Revenue in Ottawa, building contacts within the agency that he draws on today. He has sat on several CRA advisory committees, including its SR&ED and international tax panels. Paul holds a B.Comm from the University of British Columbia and an LL.B. from the University of Toronto.
