About Paul
Paul Fruitman focuses on complex commercial disputes that call for deep subject-matter knowledge. His practice covers contract disputes, infrastructure and construction disagreements, health law, employment matters, shareholder and oppression claims, professional negligence, and product liability. As a commercial litigator and trial lawyer, he has appeared at every level of court in Ontario, in jury and non-jury trials, before the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal, and in various administrative and arbitral tribunals. He writes regularly for legal publications such as The Advocates' Journal and speaks at seminars, and he teaches at the Osgoode Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006 after earning his LL.B. from the University of Windsor and undergraduate degrees from Ryerson University and the University of Western Ontario.
