About Paul

Paul Edwards is a partner at Duboff Edwards Schachter Law Corporation, practising in labour, employment, and civil litigation. He earned his BA from Trent University and his LLB from Queen's University, was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1987, and won the A. Montague Israels Q.C. Prize in the Bar Admission Course. Alongside his legal career, Paul served in the Manitoba Legislative Assembly as MLA for St. James starting in 1988, was re-elected in 1990, and became Leader of the Liberal Party of Manitoba in 1993. He has served on numerous charitable boards, including the Campaign Cabinet for United Way of Winnipeg, and was Vice-Chair of the Winnipeg Police Board from 2013 to 2016.
