About Beth

Beth Edwards is a corporate and commercial lawyer advising individual shareholders, private corporations, non-profits, and charities on corporate structuring, governance, tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, sales, and financing. She also advises First Nations on business and economic development through corporate development, partnerships, and tax matters, and has a particular interest in supporting new entrepreneurs. Beth joined Duboff Edwards Schachter Law Corporation after her call to the Manitoba Bar in 2016, graduating first in her class with an LL.B. from the University of London after earlier working as an editor following a journalism degree from Ryerson University. She has served in multiple executive roles on non-profit boards, including as Chair of S.A.M. Holdings Inc., which manages thousands of affordable housing units in Winnipeg, and has taught Business Law in the University of Winnipeg's Financial Management program.
