About Paul

Paul Mooney grew up in Ottawa and earned a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Ottawa before completing his law degree at the University of British Columbia in 2004. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2005 and practised in Vancouver for nearly a decade before returning to Ottawa in 2014. His practice concentrates on personal injury, insurance coverage disputes, and Statutory Accident Benefits, and he has extensive experience with boating accident claims. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court of Canada. He is also a Certified Risk Manager with experience in contractual and insurance coverage matters.
