About Paul

Paul De Luca is a partner whose practice covers corporate and securities law, with particular emphasis on corporate finance, public and private mergers and acquisitions, going-private transactions, corporate governance, venture capital and private equity deals, and cybersecurity and data protection matters. He plans, negotiates and carries out mergers, IPOs, reverse takeovers and other going-public transactions on the Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange, including complex cross-border deals, and has led numerous private placements for issuers and underwriters. The TSX and TSXV regularly consult him on listings of U.S. companies. Paul advises public companies on Canadian securities compliance and corporate governance, and works with clients on cybersecurity prevention and breach-response strategies. He holds a B.A. from York University (1999), an LL.B. from Queen's University (2000) and an LL.M. in corporate finance and securities law from New York University (2002).
