About Patrick

Patrick Lewis has been a member of SMR since 1990 and a partner since 1994, with a long-standing reputation in commercial and estate litigation. His practice also spans real estate litigation, administrative matters defending professionals, insurance disputes and negligence and personal injury claims. He has been lead counsel in many superior-court cases in British Columbia, has made written submissions to the Supreme Court of Canada, and has adjudicated appeals for over 10 years as a member of provincially appointed tribunals, including the Financial Services Tribunal, where he served as Vice Chair.
