About Patrick
Patrick Clark is a civil litigator focusing on construction law, professional liability, commercial insurance, personal injury and other insurance disputes. Before law school, he worked in the heavy construction industry from 1998 to 2011, eventually supervising crews on large infrastructure projects in Calgary and southern Alberta. That background informs his construction law practice, which covers contract drafting and review, builders' liens, debt collection, and disputes over project delay and extra costs. Patrick also maintains an insurance defence practice for owners, contractors, design professionals and suppliers, and acts on property loss, professional negligence and subrogated claims. He has appeared before the Court of Queen's Bench and Provincial Court of Alberta and is a member of the Calgary Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association's Alberta South Construction Law section.
